The official delivery of the 2,500-ton offshore wind power installation platform independently developed by China
On the morning of September 19, the 2,500-ton self-propelled self-elevating wind power installation platform “Haifeng 1001” independently developed and designed by China was officially delivered. This is currently the offshore wind power installation platform with the strongest lifting capacity and the largest operating water depth in China. It will focus on serving large-scale hoisting operations and foundation construction of wind turbines in far-reaching offshore wind farms in China.
According to reports, “Haifeng 1001” has the ability to transport and install integrated construction operations for two sets of 20-megawatt wind turbines in far-reaching offshore wind farms. The maximum operating water depth is 70 meters. It is equipped with DP2 dynamic positioning, can sail in unlimited navigation areas, and has a cabin capacity of 130 people.
Many performance indicators of this platform rank first in China and at the world’s leading level. It can meet the needs of integrated offshore wind power construction operations in deep seas and will greatly enhance China’s offshore wind power construction operation capabilities.
Also delivered simultaneously on the same day was the 1,800-ton self-propelled self-elevating wind power installation platform “Haifeng 1002”. Both platforms were independently developed and designed. The core and supporting components are fully domestically produced and are equipped with full-ship information technology based on the characteristics of China’s offshore wind power operations. The digital management system realizes functions such as digital monitoring of important system operation and maintenance, intelligent data analysis, and remote fault diagnosis.
