Past Event-2018 China Norway Business Summit
Norwegian King Harald V and Queen Sonja paid a state visit to China from Oct 11 to 20 at the invitation of President Xi Jinping. It was the King and Queen’s first visit to China since China and Norway normalized their diplomatic ties in April last year. It is also their fourth visit to the country since their first trip in 1985. This 10-day trip brought them to Dunhuang, Beijing, and Shanghai, and include their attendance at a series of events.

NEEC organized the Sino-Norwegian Offshore Wind Workshop in Beijing
Lead by Innovation Norway (IN) Beijing Office, the Norwegian Energy and Environment Consortium (NEEC) organized a Sino-Norwegian Offshore Wind Workshop on October 18th during 2017 China Wind Power Exhibition and Conference. This event is in cooperation with Norwegian Energy Partners (NORWEP), China Renewable Energy Industries Association(CREIA) and China Wind Energy Association (CWEA).

China Wind Power (CWP) 2017
China Wind Power (CWP) is one of the most influential events in the wind industry. The event is co-organized by five leading organizations: Chinese Wind Energy Association (CWEA), Chinese Renewable Energy Industries Association (CREIA), Global Wind Energy Council (GWEC), China National Renewable Energy Centre (CNREC) and China Wind Energy Equipment Association (CWEEA). The event has hosted 9 editions since its debut in 2008. CWP2017 will be held at the China International Exhibition Center (New Venue) on October 17-19 2017.

Sino-Norwegian Offshore Wind Workshop
Innovation Norway Beijing is organizing a Sino-Norwegian Offshore Wind Workshop on October 18th during CWP2017. This event is in cooperation with Norwegian Energy Partners (NORWEP), China Renewable Energy Industries Association(CREIA) and China Wind Energy Association.
13 Norwegian companies, including DNV GL, Statoil, and Jotun, will come to attend this workshop. The participating companies, together with a brief introduction to them and their representatives can be found here. Company visits to several major Chinese groups, including China Three Gorges Corporation, China Guodian-Longyuan Power Group Corporation, and Shanghai Electric, will be arranged after the workshop so that Norwegian companies could have the opportunities to present and to exchange ideas and cooperation potentials.

On August 17th, NEEC supported and joint 2017 China Offshore Wind Summit in Nantong together with four Norwegian offshore wind related companies: Statoil, Norwegian Energy Partners (NORWEP), DNV GL and Umoe Mandal. This summit is hosted by China Renewable Energy Industries Association(CREIA) and China Wind Energy Association (CWEA), and co-organized by China Three Gorges Corporation, Gold Wind Technologies Corporation, ABB, Envision Energy Technologies Ltd., Mingyang Wind Power Corporation and so on.
