As of the end of February, the country’s cumulative installed power generation capacity was about 2.6 billion kilowatts, an increase of 8.5% year-on-year. Among them, the installed capacity of wind power is about 370 million kilowatts, an increase of 11.0% year-on-year; The installed capacity of solar power generation is about 410 million kilowatts, a year-on-year increase of 30.8%.
In January-February, the cumulative average utilization of power generation equipment nationwide was 569 hours, a decrease of 28 hours compared to the same period last year. Among them, thermal power generated 720 hours, a decrease of 39 hours compared to the same period last year; Nuclear power generated 1209 hours, an increase of 14 hours over the same period last year; Wind power generated 401 hours, an increase of 78 hours over the same period last year.
In January-February, major power generation enterprises nationwide completed 67.6 billion yuan of investment in power supply projects, an increase of 43.6% year-on-year. Among them, nuclear power reached 8.7 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 44.8%; Solar power generation reached 28.3 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 199.9%. The completed investment in power grid projects was 31.9 billion yuan, up 2.2% year-on-year.
