The 2023 Energy Work Guidance has been issued
The National Energy Administration has issued a notice on the issuance of the “2023 Energy Work Guidance Opinions”. The Guiding Opinions propose to deepen the green and low-carbon transformation of energy, consolidate the development advantages of the wind power and photovoltaic industry, continue to expand the supply of clean and low-carbon energy, actively promote low-carbon and clean production and daily energy, and work together on both supply and demand to consolidate and expand the strong momentum of green and low-carbon transformation.
The suggestion is to vigorously develop wind and solar power generation, with an increase of approximately 160 million kilowatts in wind and photovoltaic installed capacity throughout the year; Strengthen energy construction to assist rural revitalization, implement the “Wind Power Action for Thousands of Villages and Towns” and the “Photovoltaic Action for Thousands of Households and Sunshine”.
Enhance the optimal allocation of regional energy resources. Accelerate the construction of ultra-high voltage projects such as the Jinshang Hubei, Longdong Shandong, and Sichuan Chongqing main grid, promote the preliminary work of cross provincial transmission channels such as Ningxia Hunan, and enhance the ability of cross provincial power mutual assistance and support. Thoroughly demonstrate the plan of sending 5 cross provincial transmission channels in the desert and Gobi desert areas, and reasonably determine the location and construction timing of the channels. Evaluate the optimization and adjustment plan of the regional main grid, coordinate the necessity, construction plan, and construction schedule of the project, and complete the optimization and adjustment work of the main grid planning.
