Shantou’s first offshore wind farm has accumulated over 1 billion kilowatt hours of power generation!
The Datang Nan’ao Lemen I offshore wind power project, which involves the construction of electrical wind power, has accumulated over 1 billion kilowatt hours of power generation since its commissioning.
This project is the first offshore wind power project in Shantou, with a total installed capacity of 245MW. It was fully connected to the grid and put into operation on December 31, 2021, demonstrating the acceleration of offshore wind power that started, completed, and put into operation that year. Electrical wind power provides 35 7MW wind turbines for this project.
The project has been put into operation until March 2, 2023, and the cumulative power generation has exceeded 900 million kilowatt hours (click here for details in the picture). From March 2nd to March 28th, the South Australia Lemen project’s cumulative power generation increased from over 900 million kilowatt hours to 1 billion kilowatt hours in just 26 days, with impressive results that amazed all parties.
According to data conversion, the wind farm generated an average of 2.38 million kilowatt hours of electricity per day during these 26 days, which can meet the daily electricity consumption of 119000 households.
