NEA: 10.4GW of new wind power installed nationwide from January to March
The National Energy Administration released statistical data on the national power industry from January to March.
As of the end of March, the cumulative installed power generation capacity in China was about 2.62 billion kilowatts, a year-on-year increase of 9.1%. Among them, the installed capacity of wind power is about 380 million kilowatts, an increase of 11.7% year-on-year; The installed capacity of solar power generation is about 430 million kilowatts, an increase of 33.7% year-on-year.
From January to March, the cumulative average utilization of power generation equipment in China was 868 hours, a decrease of 31 hours compared to the same period last year. Among them, there were 544 hours of hydropower, a decrease of 92 hours compared to the same period last year; 1097 hours of thermal power, a decrease of 18 hours compared to the same period last year; 615 hours of wind power, an increase of 61 hours compared to the same period last year; Nuclear power lasted for 1864 hours, an increase of 17 hours compared to the same period last year; Solar power generation lasts for 303 hours, an increase of 3 hours compared to the same period last year.
From January to March, major power generation enterprises in China completed an investment of 126.4 billion yuan in power supply projects, a year-on-year increase of 55.2%. Among them, solar power generation reached 52.2 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 177.6%; Nuclear power reached 16.1 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 53.5%. The completed investment in the power grid project is 66.8 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 7.5%.
From January to March, the country added 10.4 million kilowatts (10.4 GW) of wind power installed capacity, a year-on-year increase of 2.5 million kilowatts (2.5 GW).
