National Energy Administration: From January to April, wind power added 14.2GW of installed capacity, a year-on-year increase of 4.62GW

As of the end of April, the cumulative installed power generation capacity in China was about 2.65 billion kilowatts, a year-on-year increase of 9.7%. Among them, the installed capacity of wind power is about 380 million kilowatts, a year-on-year increase of 12.2%; Solar power generation is approximately 440 million kilowatts, a year-on-year increase of 36.6%.
From January to April, the cumulative average utilization of power generation equipment in China was 1145 hours, a decrease of 31 hours compared to the same period last year. Among them, there were 738 hours of hydropower, a decrease of 167 hours compared to the same period last year; 415 hours of solar power generation, a decrease of 17 hours compared to the same period last year; Wind power generated 866 hours, an increase of 87 hours compared to the same period last year; Nuclear power has 2472 hours, an increase of 25 hours compared to the same period last year; 1424 hours of thermal power, an increase of 7 hours compared to the same period last year.
From January to April, major power generation enterprises in China completed an investment of 180.2 billion yuan in power supply projects, a year-on-year increase of 53.6%. Among them, solar power generation reached 74.3 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 156.3%; Nuclear power reached 21.2 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 52.4%. The completed investment in the power grid project is 98.4 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 10.3%. From January to April, wind power added 14.2 million kilowatts of installed capacity, a year-on-year increase of 4.62 million kilowatts. The investment in wind power engineering is 40 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 20.7%.
