It is necessary to strengthen local responsibilities, study and incorporate the treatment of new pollutants into the assessment related to ecological environment protection, and encourage qualified local governments to formulate supplementary lists and control plans for key controlled new pollutants in their own regions according to local conditions.

It is necessary to constantly improve the List, integrate the treatment of new pollutants into the prevention and control of water, air and soil pollution, and further strengthen the organic connection between the List and the existing pollution prevention system and mechanism.

We should increase support and guarantee, establish and improve the legal and regulatory system for the treatment of new pollutants, and actively strive for financial support. We should do a good job of publicity, implementation and interpretation, so that the management department can master the management requirements and the enterprise can fully understand the compliance requirements.
