Chinese PV manufacturer Yingli completes world’s largest Hydro-PV hybrid project
The Chinese PV manufacturer has supplied 15 MW of modules for the Longyangxia Dam project, which has become the world’s largest PV and Hydro installation.
The project that started in March this year is expected to deliver 498 million kWh of PV electricity to the grid each year. The Longyangxia Dam is 178 meters high and supports a 1.28 GW power station.
