On April 11, Huadian Group and Changji state-owned assets investment and operation group respectively issued bidding announcements for the procurement of wind turbine equipment of 950mw wind power projects. According to the bidding announcement for the procurement of 800000 kW wind turbine equipment of the 1 million kW wind power project in Urumqi, Northern Xinjiang, the construction site is located in Dabancheng District, Urumqi City, Xinjiang Autonomous Region. The project scale is 800000 kW and the project duration is until December 31, 2022.

It is understood that the 1 million kW wind power base project in Urumqi, Northern Xinjiang of Huadian was officially started on March 17, 2022. It is the first batch of large-scale wind power photovoltaic base projects in China. The total installed capacity of the project is 1 million KW and the total investment is about 6.5 billion yuan. After putting into operation, more than 2.5 billion kilowatt hours of “green power” can be added every year, more than 830000 tons of standard coal can be saved every year, and more than 2.1 million tons of carbon dioxide emissions can be reduced.

According to the bidding announcement of 150000 kW affordable grid connected wind power project in Block B of 40 Jingzi second wind farm in Mulei County, the project is located in 40 Jingzi planning areas in Mulei County, Changji Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, with a procurement capacity of 150MW and a single unit capacity of 5-6.5mw wind turbine and supporting tower.
