A declaration to promote the intelligent connected vehicle (ICV) industry was made on November 6th in Shanghai.
State-owned BAIC’s new-energy vehicle unit, BAIC BJEV, plans to invest 10 billion yuan ($1.51 billion) to produce 500,000 new-energy vehicles and build 3,000 charging stations in more than 1,000 cities in China through 2022, according to Zhang Yong, deputy general manager of BAIC BJEV.
