Project Matchmaking Conference in Beijing,06-08. June 2006
The project matchmaking Conference in Beijing was successfully completed with more than 160 attendees from Norway and China.
80 one to one meetings between companies were completed on day two of the conference. The outcome of these meetings is too early to say, and the follow up both on the Norwegian and Chinese side as well as from Innovation Norway is crucial for further success.
We had 30 speakers over the two days representing on the Norwegian side the official Norway, research institutions and private enterprises on the Chinese side we had speakers from the official China, Chinese energy and environmental institutions, Four provincial Environmental Protection Bureau’s as well as private enterprises.

20 + companies have submitted profiles, and we are now looking at the final program
We expect 40-50 participants to attend from Norway, and a similar number of attendees on the Chinese side
This neec event will be co-hosted by Innovation Norway, the Norwegian Pollution Control Authority (SFT) and the Royal Norwegian Embassy in China. Planning and facilitating is also happening in close cooperation with the Norwegian environmental and energy business networks.
