NEEC Participated the 2017 China Offshore Wind Summit in Nantong
On August 17th, NEEC supported and joint 2017 China Offshore Wind Summit in Nantong together with four Norwegian offshore wind related companies: Statoil, Norwegian Energy Partners (NORWEP), DNV GL and Umoe Mandal. This summit is hosted by China Renewable Energy Industries Association(CREIA) and China Wind Energy Association (CWEA), and co-organized by China Three Gorges Corporation, Gold Wind Technologies Corporation, ABB, Envision Energy Technologies Ltd., Mingyang Wind Power Corporation and so on.
The Secretary-General of CWEA Mr Qin Haiyan hosted the opening ceremony, while former director and researcher of Chinese National Center for Climate Change Strategy and International Cooperation (NCSC) Mr Li Jun Feng, IN China’s country director Mr Knut Roald Sørlie, Energy counsellor of Danish Embassy Mr Thomas Shapiro, deputy general manager of China Three Gorges Corporation Mr Bi Yaxiong, Director of Energy Bureau of Jiangsu Mr Tang Xuewen, and former deputy general manager of China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation Mr Chen Junmin attended and gave opening remarks.
Following the opening ceremony, a set of keynote speech and penal discussions were held, where Statoil China’s new VP Mr Mats Fredriksson joined a panel discussion on Offshore Wind Power CTO Forum – Grasp Innovation and Breakthroughs in New Direction, and DNV GL and Umoe Mandal gave presentations on their services, products and past experience.
