Chinese Environment Protection Industry Delegation’s Business Visit in Norway – Day Two (afternoon): Visiting NMBU
NEEC together with China Association of Environmental Protection Industry (CAEPI) has co-organized a business visit, bring an environment protection industry delegation from China to Norway.
On September 14th in the afternoon, the delegation visited NMBU, Norwegian University of Life Sciences to exchange idea and knowledge.
Prof. Jan Vermaat , Faculty research director of NMBU gave the delegation a warm welcome in the campus. Mr. Teng Jianli, Deputy Secretary-General of China Association of Environmental Protection Industries then gave a speech on behalf of the delegation.
Prof. Lars Bakken from NMBU discussed issues on “Nitrogen issues and N2O emissions”. Then Prof. Petter Jensen from NMBU introduced the “SiEU Project”. The overall project objective is to strengthen EU-China collaboration in food security and sustainable UA and to develop resilient, socially coherent and smart future cities with maximum utilization of solar energy, CO2, minimum environmental footprint and zero waste, thus contributing in circular economy at a global level, meanwhile improving social well-being and quality of life for residents.
Mr. Georg Finsrud, Chief Technical officer of A-AQUA AS also gave a “Green Ecological City + Horten Municipality preparedness show case presentation”.
